Unshackle Upstate Followers:

Let me start by thanking each and every one of you for supporting Unshackle Upstate. Any coalition effort - no matter how brilliant or important its message - is nothing without its members.

Alone, we are just a voice . Together, we are a STRONG unified force demanding change.

Unshackle Upstate is all about CHANGE that will benefit you - the New York State taxpayer and voter - and ultimately return the Empire State to its place of economic prominence.

To do that, we need to make our ARMY even larger, our voice even STRONGER. So Unshackle Upstate is kicking its social media campaign into high gear. And we don't want to just be talking to you; we want to be talking with you.

Through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and our website, Unshackle Upstate wants to CONNECT with you, and connect you with each other, in conversations about what matters to you as taxpayers and voters. To Be Successful We Need Your Help:

1)  Become a friend/fan of Unshackle and help grow our Army

2)  Make YOUR voice heard. Spread the word to others. Comment and share your thoughts with us. We need to hear you, and more importantly you should be heard.

3)  We need to hear your friends and family too. Invite them to join us. To be successful we need to grow and be strong.

Our main goal: Recruit 1 million active members to join the Unshackle Army so our voice is heard in the 2010 elections.

November 2010 is when New Yorkers will elect a governor and vote on all 212 seats in the state Legislature. That election is the chance to make OUR VOICE heard. We have a real chance to effect LONG-TERM MEANINGFUL CHANGE in Albany, but ONLY IF we as taxpayers UNITE and stay informed on the issues, exercise our right to vote and put people into office that put the interests of New York state citizens, including and especially the interests of Upstate New Yorkers, above their own interests in being re-elected.
