“We applaud the state’s decision to allow the use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the trucking industry. The regulations will create appropriate health and environmental safety criteria for LNG storage, while providing a tremendous economic opportunity to companies that are interested in converting their fleets to cleaner-burning natural gas.

With these new regulations, transportation companies will be able to cut their fuel costs and reduce carbon emissions. This is a win for New York’s environment and economy.”
